Building the Operational Backbone for Space Access

21.5 acres in Andhra Pradesh. Built in-house to run continuous cryogenic engine testing at scale. Ground infrastructure is where rocket programs are won or lost.

EVEREST - High Thrust, High Efficiency, FFSC Engine

Built in record time, Astrobase is pushing to design, manufacture and test our engine at the fastest pace globally. All engine components were manufactured by June 2026, culminating in the integration of the full-scale engine.

Infrastructure-Driven. Vertically Integrated. Built for Scale.

End-to-end rocket engine production, assembly, integration, and subsystem testing - under one roof.

Located in Bengaluru, this facility is the core of our propulsion development.

Space Is No Longer Mission Based. It Is Operational.

Space Is No Longer Mission Based. It Is Operational.

Space capability is no longer defined by individual launches, but by continuous readiness and assured access.

The challenge is not launching once — it is the ability to respond within known timelines, replace critical systems, and sustain operations under stress.

This requires more than vehicles. It requires always-ready propulsion, test infrastructure, and an integrated production backbone.

Latest Updates

Astrobase has unveiled EVEREST, India’s first Full-Flow Staged Combustion (FFSC) rocket engine - an 80-tonne-class, 800 kN engine designed and manufactured in Bengaluru, India. With this achievement, India joins the United States, Russia and China as the fourth country to develop and build an FFSC engine, placing the country among a select group pursuing one of the most advanced liquid rocket propulsion architectures.

Astrobase has been selected under IN-SPACe's Technology Adoption Fund (TAF) to accelerate development of its indigenous 800 kN LOX–methane rocket engine. The milestone supports India's vision of building sovereign space capabilities and strengthens Astrobase's mission to develop advanced propulsion and launch infrastructure entirely in-country.
