First Igniter Hot-Fire Test Completed
Astrobase successfully conducted its first igniter hot-fire test in June 2025, marking a key step in the development of its high-thrust propulsion systems.
The test focused on validating ignition sequencing, transient response, and system stability under controlled operating conditions. Ignition is a critical phase in rocket engine operation, directly influencing start-up reliability and overall engine performance.
Through disciplined, repeatable ground testing, Astrobase continues to de-risk propulsion system development at an early stage, establishing a robust foundation for subsequent subsystem and full-engine validation.
